Notes from the Tokyo archive team
How pieces get authenticated before they reach the Nova shelf.
Every piece in the Nova archive passes through Tokyo before it is listed. The team photographs each seam, zipper and wash label under 4K macro.
Authentication is a paper trail, not a vibe. We check construction against factory records, hardware against period-correct parts, and log every finding to a permanent certificate.
Pieces that fail the audit never reach the shelf. The ones that pass get an NFC tag linking to their certificate, so the next owner can verify them anywhere.
