What to pack for United States: the season-by-season guide

Summer — 24–35°C: Humid east, dry west — breathable fabrics win.

Cities are car-first outside the coasts, which means more walking to the car and bigger temperature swings in parking lots. Technical shells and lug-sole footwear earn their place fast.
